    “Im Dorf selber bestehen diverse Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für den täglichen Bedarf, über den Coop, Migros, Bäckerei, Käsereiladen, u.v.m... Selbstverständlich fehlen auch Sportgeschäfte, Bankfilialen, Uhren- und Schmuckläden, Apotheke, Drogerie, sowie zahlreiche Restaurants und Bars nicht.
    Toll ist ebenfalls die «Free Access Card» für die beiden Regionen Villars-Gryon und Les Diablerets. Bei der Ferienplanung ist allerdings darauf zu achten, dass einzelne Bahnen und Verkehrsmittel erst Ende Juni / anfangs August in Betrieb sind.”

    “Door de Free-Acces card die wij kregen voor Villars-Gryon, konden wij heel veel dingen gratis doen, zoals twee gondels omhoog, midgetgolf, binnen zwembad, treintje omhoog of naar Gryon. Parkeren was gratis in de parkeergarage (weet alleen niet of dat de bedoeling was) en verder goedkoop parkeren. Twee supermarkten die behoorlijk goede keuze hadden, heerlijk brood. Het is alleen wel stervensduur in Zwitserland. Maar ja, dat wisten we van te voren.”

    “Richtig schöner Ferienort. Verkehrsgünstig. Viele Wanderwege. In der Übergangssaison zwischen Winter und Sommer leider nicht alles geöffnet. Leider fehlen auch konkretere Angaben zu den Saisonzeiten. Allgemeine Kosten auf "Schweizer Niveau". Die gute Lage in Verbindung mit den Rabattmöglichkeiten der Bahn eröffnet auch sehr viele Ausflugsziele, ohne das Auto zu benutzen. Die Tourismusinformation des Ortes vermittelte wenig Anregungen und Informationen. Hier war viel Eigeninitiative gefragt. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert.”
