A green vacation, in every sense of the word!

Located in a preserved natural site, within the Haut Languedoc Regional Natural Park, you will spend a vacation surrounded by nature. The ecological wealth is remarkable with its very rich fauna and flora. The gîte is a former dairy which was used to make Roquefort cheese in the basement and its upper floor was used as a dwelling. It was therefore natural to respect the architecture of this building during its renovation. This was designed by limiting the ecological impact as much as possible and thinking about the surrounding species so that they continue to live there (bats, swallows, etc.). Local craftsmen contributed to the renovation of this gîte with materials such as untreated local ash, natural lime coating, Fermecell...

** THE GITE **
Detached house, near the owners' home (below the gîte), with private terrace. Accessibility has been designed with an absence of steps or relief on the entire ground floor, including access to the shower. Although the house is equipped with underfloor heating thanks to a heat pump, you can also enjoy the warmth of the wood stove.
- Living room with kitchen open to the dining table and sofa. Kitchen equipped with an oven, induction hob, dishwasher, microwave, filter coffee maker.
- Bedroom on the ground floor with 160x200cm bed and natural linen sheets
- Bathroom with shower, sink and toilet
- Mezzanine with office area and convertible sofa for 2 additional beds if necessary
- Upstairs bedroom: two 90x190cm single beds with natural linen sheets and baby bed.
The land around the cottage is completely enclosed. You can park in front of the front door of the cottage. Washing machine available in the basement of the gîte. You are in a hamlet of around ten inhabitants, so there is no shortage of exteriors: hiking trails a few meters away, a cattle farm in the hamlet, you will certainly come across the goats of the owners who maintain the exteriors...
