Exclusively equipped and furnished five-star apartment with a park-like garden (1400m²)




Our house is right by the Bavarian Forest National Park (about 300 metres to the animal enclosure) on the outskirts of Ludwigsthal near Zwiesel, 11 km from Großer Arber (ski world cup piste). There are excellent bus and train connections. It is a paradise for hikers, cyclists and skiers.



The “colonial” apartment is on the ground floor (first occupied at the start of 2016) and was built and furnished with great attention to detail. The harmonious interior offers a special atmosphere of well-being. It was certified as 5-star by DTV in November 2016. It has one bedroom with solid colonial furniture in warm colour tones, a 50-inch TV, a double terrace door out onto the private terrace, a bathroom with a walk-in shower (150 x 90cm), a large washbasin, and solid colonial furniture, all with harmonising colours, a new built-in kitchen that is generously equipped, including a dishwasher and a lovely dining group. It measures around 67m² and is suitable for 2-3 persons (a cot or guest bed can be set up in the bedroom). There is space for skis, ski boots, a pushchair etc. Our aim is for you to feel comfortable here and to enjoy an unforgettable stay.



In our courtyard, each apartment has its own parking space right next to our garages. The extensive, park-like garden (1400m²) is available for our guests. It has a lovely lounger area and ample seating throughout the garden, as well as a grill area and a campfire area (wood, lighters and charcoal are provided). The garden is also a paradise for children: swing, slide, sandpit and plenty of toys.



At both apartments, you are welcomed on arrival with the following free amenities: a bottle of wine as a greeting, dishwasher detergent and tabs, basic condiments, toilet paper, bin bags, kitchen roll, tea towels, bed linen, towels, hairdryer. All the rooms in both apartments are laid with high-quality tiles and underfloor heating. The temperature can be adjusted in each room using digital thermostats. We offer a free bread rolls delivery service except on Sundays and holidays.



The cycle path from the Czech Republic (9km to the border) to Regen leads directly past our house. It is only 250 metres to a grass football ground that can be used, right by the river Regen with lovely places to swim. Our village (approx. 350 inhabitants) has a total of three restaurants: one is in the ‘Haus zur Wildnis’ (about 300 metres away), the other is right opposite the house (about 30 metres, Gasthaus zum Wurzlsepp). In Schleicher (1km) there is a very good restaurant for local delicacies (trout, pig knuckle, platters etc.). In Zwiesel (5km) there are also at least five pizzerias, more Bavarian restaurants, two Greek and a Chinese. What can you experience in Ludwigsthal? A new Romanesque parish church, unique in Bavaria, with unique painting and LED lighting, Ludwigsthal Castle or the Falkenstein nationa park centre with the Haus zur Wildnis and animal enclosure (lynx, wild horses, wolves). You can go hiking right from the doorstep and there are many recreational activities in the area: the treetop trail by the Lusen national park centre, Großer Arber, Großer Falkenstein, the small or large Arbersee or the rustic Trifterklause Schwellhäusl, the recently opened enormous children’s park WiWaWu in Zwisel, where you can also do shopping (5km), with all major discounters and supermarkets.
