Comfortable and well-equipped holiday apartment in a historical water mill at Lake Como
This holiday apartment offers a very special atmosphere, as it is on the ground floor of an old water mill. It is in the hills at Nesso, a picturesque locality by the eastern shore of Lake Como.
The living room opens onto a 10m² terrace with view of the Tofee stream. It has wicker seating. The apartment also has a private garden (100m²) with a lawn and a view of the lake. It is furnished with a table, chairs, deckchairs and a parasol and has a grill area and a sunny terrace. The whirlpool is worth a special mention, ideal for relaxing. A parking space is available. Three bicycles are available for use free of charge.
The water mill was completely renovated in 2004, paying attention to preserving the original structure as far as possible. The old stone walls are partially exposed and give the apartment a cosy atmosphere. It measures around 100m² and is ideal for six to a maximum of eight people. The romantic bedroom is furnished with a wrought-iron double bed (160 x 190cm), a dresser, a TV and wall cupboards. The second bedroom has a bunk bed (80 x 190cm). A further single bed can be pulled out if required and combined with the lower bed as a double bed. The living room-kitchen is generous and provides a very comfortable sofa bed for two people, a dining space with a table, a bench and chairs, a TV and a fireplace. The open kitchen is separated from the lounge area by an archway and is very well-equipped with a fridge and freezer, microwave, oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, toaster and gas stove. There are also two bathrooms, one with a bath, bidet, washbasin and WC, the other with a shower, WC and washbasin. A decoder, games console, computer, stereo system, washing machine and video recorder are provided, along with bed linen and towels. Up to two camping beds for small children can be provided. Internet access is available.
The nearest grocery shop is just 300 metres away, the nearest restaurant 500 metres. The centre is 1km away, within walking distance. It is 3km to the lake.
