Lage:
The cabin is located in Bavaria, close to the Austrian border, amidst the skiing and hiking region Winklmoosalm/Steinplatte (14 ski lifts, 44km slopes). You could leave your car at the car park in Seegatterl, and then take the cable car until Winklmoosalm (Winklmoos-mountain pasture), or you can also go there via your own car (driveway 4km). From this car park to the Winklmoosalm you have to walk about 650m. The owner will help you with the transportation of you luggage. In summer you can drive your car until the mountain pasture.
Entfernungen:
The next town is "Reit im Winkl", which is about 9km from here, there you have different shopping possibilities as well as some taverns. The skiing region with ski school is located within spitting distance, by the way, there are also more than 35km cross-country ski runs and winter hiking trails which are family-friendly as well as suitable for baby carriages in summer. Alpine guesthouse just 150m from here. This region has perfect conditions for bikers and climbers. A tennis court, an open air pool, an indoor swimming pool and a golf course are on site. The idyllic and natural swimming lake "Weitsee" is just 5km from here.

Kitchen with electric cooker, oven, wood stove, dishwasher, coffee machine, microwave, fridge, freezer. 2 toilets, shower. Upper floor: anteroom with extendable sofa if needed, 3 bedrooms. Basement floor: sauna with silent room, 2 showers, 1 toilet. Heating with the tiled stove and electrically. In front of the cabin is a nice sunny place with seats!
Nebenkosten:
Electricity 0,40/kWh, local tourism tax with "Inclusive Card" currently about 2,70 in winter and 2,50 in summer (various reductions and free offers), final cleaning 90,-. Bed linen can be rented for 7,- and towels for 5,-. Deposit 400,-.
